What must I do to be saved? You must first recognize that you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23- For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
John 5: 24- Verily, verily, I say unto to you, he that hear my word,
and believe
on Him that sent Me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation;
but is passed from death unto life.
John 14:6 - Jesus said unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man
come unto the Father, but by me."
Acts 4:12- Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none
other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
grace means -God giving me a free gift I don´t deserve.
saved means -not being punished for my sin.
faith means- trusting what Christ has done to save me from my sin.
works means- good things I do
boast means- brag
condemnation means- punishment for sins.
salvation means freed forever from the punishment of my sin.

What can I do about my sin? There is only one way to heaven
Titus 3:5 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to
His mercy
He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
washing of regeneration, means - When I trust Christ as my savior, my sins
are forgiven, and my life is made clean by the blood of Christ .
renewing of the Holy Ghost. means- When I trust Christ as my savior, the
Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) helps me to live for God.
Note: Going to church, being good and doing many good things cannot take away your
sins.
You can never do enough good things to make God forget your sin. But the Bible says God
has made a way for you to be saved, even though you deserve to be punished. He forgives
your sin and makes you clean in His sight when you trust Jesus Christ as your Savior.

Trusting Christ as Savior
Romans 10:9-10-13 That if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe
in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your
heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth, that you confess and
are saved. For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved". ( verses from
NIV Bible)
1John 1: 9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
